Cherished are the days I've spent at Gentile's Campground. On a cold November, just before dawn as the sun said "Hello" to the sky, I woke in the company of some of the greatest guests I've ever encountered. The children's laughs riddles the morning, the frigid winds blew ever gently, and the sun broke the scene through leaves and branches like some sort of fairytale movie. What happens at the playground stays at the playground, but I'll never forget that one guy who we crossed paths with. He was making his way back to Louisiana, and I'll always look back fondly on the great memories we made with even greater people. The campground owners stocked up the man from Louisiana with an abundance of fruit snacks and beverages before making his descent, as a token of thanks for once again flaunting his talent of doing backflips off the swing set. On a cold November just after dusk as the sun bid it's cordial goodbye, so did the Louisian wanderer. He might have walked away from the campgrounds, but he'll never walk away from our hearts. I owe it all to the campgrounds for being the vessel of our adventures. Thanks, Gentile's. Oh, and the parking was great.

This is my new favorite place to go camping. The camp has nicer bathrooms than the state parks in the area. I enjoyed my tent site. The only thing I have to complain about is that I saw trees being cut down. Based on the criticism I’ve seen on google it’s from the complaints. Keep the nature part of camping and not give into those who want to have fancy big trailers. Big RVs are not true camping! I loved my tenting site in the back. It was peaceful to be surrounded with trees in nature. My site was clean and I had space to park my Jeep. I enjoyed my stay and will be likely to come back with my friends. Thank you for my retreat from technology.

Gentile Campground is like a second home to me. It is warm, the staff are friendly, and the area is idyllic. If you want a classic, outdoors American experience, go to Gentile’s Campground!!

Dosen't EVEN desrve one . It's ugly, owners aren't pleasent.

Great place to stay. Irene at the desk is the best. There are many places to sit. #teamirene
